The QLA Group was founded on the premise of sound, stable and solid business management and growth. Our goal is to acquire healthy and profitable businesses with the potential for exponential growth.
Investment Strategy
We believe there are significant opportunities to acquire, add value, and consolidate lower middle-market companies. We partner with companies that are addressing large, defined markets with a demonstrated value proposition. We look for the following in our investments, yet we remain flexible for the right opportunity:
Capable management. An experienced team that operates with clarity.
The right vertical. Your company provides a product or service that addresses a large, addressable market or a niche with high-growth potential.
A relevant competitive advantage. You have something special in your arsenal-whether it’s proven science, IP, brand loyalty or a ground breaking operating platform.
Proven success. You have a sound, profitable business model with unit economics clearly defined and validated.
Revenue ranging from $10M-$100M
Our goal is to employ a “buy and build” investment approach by which we acquire entities outright or at minimum a controlling share. This approach includes organic growth along with selective acquisition strategies. Our team leverages its broad skill set to create value in its portfolio companies by:
Helping management teams formulate business strategy and performance goals
Identifying, monitoring, and improving key performance metrics
Advising on the optimal organizational and compensation structure, including management incentive plans
Accessing a variety of resources from our universe of contacts and relationships
Analyzing acquisitions, divestitures, and major capital projects

Altogether we have a combined 150+ years of experience with a combined total value of deals completed in the tens of billions. The vast diversity of our team’s background allows us to conduct high-level transactions in an extremely efficient manner.
